This is an abstract work I did to challenge human perception.

What we think we see is often very far from the truth but in our belief we tend to hide behind the blind eye of our ‘righteousness’ because it’s the only truth we know. We somehow become oblivious to situations that do not concern us because we know that the norm, the standard, what we think we know, tells us the real truth.

Is this really a tree? Is that really a well? Why can’t it be Sun and Moon or a Man and a Woman? And why are they square? Just because the objects are green and blue, are we supposed to accept that what we think, the most obvious explanation, is really what it is? We base our beliefs on the obvious - grass is green, water is blue (when reflected off the sky) and often it is the “truth” we stick with. Why dig deeper? Clearly it is the most obvious explanation!

I dare to challenge you. What is the objects’ link to the house? Is the house empty, why are there no windows? How do they connect? I invite you to discover the Truth which is often very different from what it seems. The journey of self-discovery is refreshing, trust me. Just as this painting is.
